Hone screen message annoying

I have the Verizon V10. I wanted a clean default home screen. Cleaned it all off, but message appears about adding apps & widgets. Anyone know how I can get this "help" message to go away?

Is that some widget that gives tips? Can you long-press it?

I actually noticed that last night too. I added a couple of widgets and the message still appeared on top of the widgets. It only seems to be on the screen left of home.

No it's the message that says Touch or drag here to add apps or widgets. I added widgets and the message stayed on the screen. I decided to leave a widget on the screen overnight and in the morning the message was gone. Not sure why it took hours to go away but it seems to be gone now. It will hopefully not return after a reboot. Nothing serious but a pretty weird bug.

I added and removed app shortcuts and a couple widgets and it seemed to have timed out on its own. Now I have a clean home screen.
