We've had a bit of time to spend with the Honor 5X now, so what's your opinion on the design? Is it durable? How's that metal back doing with making an impression? Are your ports getting loose yet?

The build quality continues to be good. The metal back looks and feels high quality, and is actually less slippery than the Nexus 6P. No problems with the ports. The Power button placement below the Volume buttons still throws me off, since I'm used to the positions being reversed.

Are you experiencing anything like the coating on the power button wearing off?

Been very happy with the phone going on 4 months now. The design is nothing flashy but I just want it to feel solid and it does that. Grown to like the big screen even if it mean single hand operation is harder. Bottom line for $200 with no contract its a great phone IMO if your ok with the large screen.

Everything is still ok, no signs wear, but I do use a case
