Mine caught microscratches after 2 days of use,both on screen side and back side. Never dropped never put on anything hard. How??

Sadly, since this is a flat glass backed phone, it is really easy for that to happen. You're not alone, the same thing happened with the back of my Honor too.

If you go case less,then I would recommend a plastic back protector to avoid scratches on the back.on the front,I would recommend a tempered glass screen protector

1. for the app drawer I think you will get the answer for our next EMUI version 5.0
2. for the camera speed I will try to feedback to R&D to check any solution for it.
3. for accessories, what kind of accessories do you want for Honor 8? I will try to get more for US.
4. There will be more colors coming, which color you want? Gold or pink? Black is already there now.
5. for the GPU part, I play a lot of games on Smartphone. Until now there is no lag for me for the games. How about yours?

I would just like to ask for official charging accessories. I ordered a set of USB c cables, hoping to get a longer cord for my original fast charger. Unfortunately only the official cables will work with it, which is fine, but I can't buy any. Also, official fast car charges would be awesome.

Not sure I'm correctly understanding what you wrote BotanicalStig... Are you saying you bought a longer USB-C cable to plug into the Honor charger (that came with the Honor 8 phone) and it's not working for you? If so, I find that odd as I did basically the same thing since the USB-C cable that comes out of the box with the Honor 8 phone is quite short. I already had a longer, spare USB-C cable laying around and I've been using it with the Honor 8 charger, with it fast charging, without any issues...

USB C cables are still in their infancy, there are unfortunately a number of bad eggs in the bunch.

Mind sharing where you got it? The aukey cables I bought were pretty expensive, but they only work with my old slow chargers. Plug it in to the supplied fast charger, and nothing happens.

1. I use the google now launcher, so I am not concerned about emui 5.0 changes to the launcher, I care much much more about having a closer to google experience in the notification shade and settings please.
2. I find the camera fairly fast, but in night mode it is a bit slow.
3. I want a car charger, wall charger, and longer replacement usb cords.
4. On the next iteration maybe some sort of matte textured back that is smudge resistant.
5. I have lag playing marvel avengers academy and nothing else, tinyco games are notoriously laggy once you build it out a lot though.
6. It would be nice if apps started whitelisted and allowed you to disable background running instead of the other way around.
7. I would like to be able to disable default honor apps so that I can use google counterparts. Gallery, calendar, messaging etc.

Yeah, initially, they were not fast charging but I just kept unplugging the cable from the charger and plugging it back in. It took a few seconds but then it worked. Now, it works flawlessly.

After some wiggling, I got it to work. Thanks for the tip. It seems to work if the plug is a little loose, but not when it clicks all the way in to the USB a port. Weird.

Hey BotanicalStig -

I had to wait to get home to verify what USB cable I was using with the Honor charger, so sorry for the slow reply. Unfortunately, I can't really specify what brand of cable it is, as it's the USB-C cable I got as a free gift from HTC when I bought the HTC 10. I checked the cable and there's no branding or ID of any kind as to who made it.

Honor has already said quarterly. While it would be nice,I don't see it happening.

Quarterly works fine for me unless critical bugs or vulnerabilities are uncovered, then I would hope they do the right thing and quickly correct.

Yeah.I feel similar.I wouldn't be dissuaded from buying a honor 8 over this,because quarterly is still very decent especially considering non nexus and price tag.

If you are within return period, return as defective and if it improves via update later buy it again potentially on sale. If the device is defective, you shouldn't be held to any kind of restocking fee. If they insist on it, you can just dispute with your bank.
