Battery life is so subjective the only relative use is your own. I have 300 apps installed and battery life is significantly better than my two Note 7s that I thought were great too. The wild thing is I mainly used the Note 7 in standard power save mode unless gaming. I have yet to use power save more with the 8+ and it is STILL better. About 90 minutes more SOT for my use. That IMO is nuts good.

Butter on the biscuit being the 8+ is much faster with much better thermals than the Note 7. Ditto comparing the Pixel with 821 SOC.

Yea. It's not like my wife's iPhone needs constant recharging.

Even accounting for battery size, she charges her phone for more frequently than I charge mine and our SoT is similar but the apps we use are different.

Then the 8+ is an outlier, since most user feedback is positive and all reviews concur. My own use does as well.
