Horrendously slow data on Hotspot

Having intermittent problems with unbelievably slow data connection on my hotspot. Web pages and videos will not load. Is this normal and is there anything can be done about it?

Are you on unlimited data plan?did you use more than 100gb?

Which hotspot is it? Have you tried to restart it?

For me using regular VZW right now on my phone, crappy speeds.

No on unlimited, it's a refurbished MiFi and I have since restarted it things seem to be better.
