I'm talking about your true data speed. You can select your sever in speed test but when you actually use your phone for data, your phone automatically picks up a server. I can use a speed test app and it tell me my 4g is 33mbps but yet a 2.5 MB will take 3-4 seconds so not truly is my phone doing 33mbps.
Its been slow here (Milwaukee) too. And i dont know how or why adding more markets drop my speed but i have seen my speeds plunge everytime they add another area. I have even confirmed the days with Verizon. I think its this in addition to more and more people switching to lte. But my speed issues have been slowly getting better. I was first getting less than 1mb when the new markets launch. Now (2 weeks later) im back up to 2.5mb. Not the 10+mb i saw when i first got my phone but i think its growing pains mostly
