I'm sorry I haven't been online as much as I'm on a ship for a couple of days and I'm only allowed to bring my work related objects , work phone , and work laptop. Plus I can't open any other ports except HTTP (80) and HTTPS-SSL (443) for security reasons so I can't RDP into my Azure cloud without setting off tons of alarms and probably putting everyone on the ship in danger. All I can say on that subject, but I should be back to full dev / samartian mode in a week at MOST.

I tend to use a little piece of software called sshttp on my boxes just in case I'm in a situation like that. All my boxes are running linux

Oh no . I think I would throw myself overboard if I had to stay on a ship for a extended period of time . I was in the corps . Lol I have all the experience I need. But office people, I got you . I should be back in my office on LAND very soon. YES! I don't think I can take anymore of this nothingness but water .

And tvall , can you send me a link to that? I actually tried RDPing into my LinuxBox yesterday, and my port got flagged and tagged. :|

Nope, you're right on time. I'm back in the states early. I'm working on that PM box as we speak.

It allows you to run ssh and HTTP on port 80. Only port I have open to the internet. I don't think it'll work for rdp, but you could use ssh port forwarding for that.

Okay, sorry. I thought you downloaded it when I sent it to you so I took it down . Just give me a couple of minutes. Microsoft charged me almost $700 dollars for my cloudbox , when the boxes was supposed to be free for the first twelve months? There is NO way I'm paying $700 for that cloudbox. It's almost how much I pay for rent!

Okay thanks! I actually set my ports in the Azure management portal so my HTTP protocol is pointing to 80 and my RDP port is 443 (which is usually the HTTPS/SSL port) . ^__^

Nigel, I clicked on the link and it tried to load for a minute or so, then throws "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

That's what I'm confused by. My computer is set as the DMZ server, IIS is installed and active, IP address is static.

Iv noticed when im needing ports open the dmz doesnt always work like is says I have to actually forward the ports to the ip needing those ports
