"Hot" Weather Animation at what temperature?

So as most everyone knows whose seen or heard the news last couple days the east coast has been baking the last few days. And today is the hottest day yet, here in Raleigh NC just went to 103' hasnt been that hot in at least 3 or 4 years. So my question is at what temperature will the HTC EVO 3D Weather info or lock screen show the "HOT" Animation like in the demonstration in the weather icon? Any clues. Is there anyone in Arizona or the desert southwest that can tell us?

Here in Dallas TX it's been hitting 100-104 degrees everyday for the past two months or so....

It only does the "HOT" animation when it isn't partly cloudy. But it's almost always going to be partly cloudy...


Sidenote: WTF is the difference between "Partly sunny" and "Partly cloudy"???????? Isn't it the same damn thing?

That's a good question Id LOVE to the Hot animation.............what gives?

I think its like the glass half full or half empty analogy. I never understood either. I never saw the hot animation this week either, and i will say it was hot!

download OPTIMISTIC WEATHER, if you wanna laugh your but off, like today it said hotter then a chubby girl on a treadmill. lmao, its great, but now you have me interested in the HOT version of weather on this.

It may have just been me but it looks like the sun on the weather app looks a little melted since the heat wave. I'm in Philly

We've been having thunder storms here and have found myself turning the screen off and on so I can see the storm graphics.
