Hotmail -"Could not open connection to server" while sync

Set up hotmail on the GNex - get this error. Deleted the account and readded but syncs onlt 3 weeks does not sync new messages that are in hotmail. Anyone else with this issue?

Settings are as directed
*Domain/username -username@hotmail.com
*Server - m.hotmail.com
*Automatic push, sync 3 weeks.

Anyone???
I can sync all folders but INBOX and receive the error(in Title)...Please help. Have a 2nd hotmail iD which works perfectly fine.
