Hotmail on Nexus 4 - grouping emails from same thread

Just bought a Nexus 4, having previously used an iPhone 4. I've synced my Hotmail account on the Nexus - previously, on my iPhone all emails from the same thread would be grouped together. However, on the Nexus, it seems to list each email individually which makes my inbox look very untidy! I've searched the settings to see if there's any option to allow me to group the emails but I can't see anything relevant. Does anyone know if there is a way to group them?
