Hotmail randomly marks all emails unread

This weird thing started happening in the past week or two, and is happening more and more often.

I have the D Inc, Verizon, and have email set up for GMail, ActiveSync Exchange, and then two internet email folders (Hotmail and another one). This only happens with Hotmail. All of a sudden, it will show all my Hotmail emails as unread, even though they were read before. It was happening once in a while, now its a couple times a day or more.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I just got my EVO 3D and have this same problem. I use the default android mail and now I have 99+ unread emails...

Don't android and hotmail sync properly?

Do I have to install the new hotmail app to get this to work?
