Hotspot Data Usage

I've been using the free mobile hotspot feature for the past week and noticed there is no separate data usage for the hotspot (versus my phone data usage).

When I had the Palm Pre's free mobile hotspot feature, hotspot data usage was a separate item from the phone's data usage.

its a free trial. as soon as they start charging may 15th you will see separate data usage.

(does not work for Tbolt but you can see where the data is being charged to.)

right now the data is being charge to 00000000000@dun-vzw3g.com
instead of yournumber@dun-vzw3g.com .
as soon as the free hot spot ends it will change back so your data will be separate and charged for sure.

and also they dont want you to see how much data you are using. because its $20 for 2gig capped on hotspot. so if you dont know how much you're using when its free you have a higher likely hood of going over the cap your first month if you pay for it and getting overage charges. theres vzw at work for ya.

That's exactly why I want to see how much data I've been using. I know it's free and unlimited now, but I also know it won't be unlimited once it's not free.
