House Divided?

So, this year instead of my husband and I being split over football teams - we are now divided over phones.

I married the biggest Apple Fanboy ever. Like...most...obnoxious crazy about iOS....ever.

As you can tell from my signature, I have been submerged in iOS for ages - got bored, made the jump and am completely happy with Android.
My husband on the other hand, is becoming almost bitter about me leaving Apple - I am still holding onto my iPad Mini just to keep the peace!

He has this "perma-eye" rolling thing going on whenever he sees me catching up on Droid news, or getting excited about a new release.

Anyone else living in a house divided? How do you cope? =P

I just tell people "Want ***** proof , go iphone. If you don't need ***** proof go Android. Totally your call.

I tell my wife that to take her Nexus out of her hand would require surgery. But fortunately for her I have no problem with that. I am somewhat OS agnostic; I use Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone. But my first choice and primary phone is Android.

My Girlfriend loved iOS, till i showed her sparkles on the nexus 4.
One of my brothers is a die hard Apple fan, I am the youngest, his the middle and the oldest brother has a s3, so you can guess who gets ganged up on. So when we have family catch ups, if one bad word is dropped about Apple he has a sook. To be honest, we tolerate it by viewing were right and his wrong - majority rules

My wife loves her iPhone 4s and we have several other apple products. I wouldn't say there is a divide, but I get to see the best of both worlds, if there is an up side to things

That's how it is around my house too. Last May we got phone upgrades and we went from both having Droid X2's to her having an iPhone 5 and me having a Galaxy S4. There are some things she misses about Android, but she wasn't willing to risk her next phone slowing down and acting all buggy in a year or so like our last two Android phones did. I can't say I disagree with her logic for jumping ship. She also has an iPad and I have a Galaxy 2 7.0, though my tablet is a weird Christmas present hand-me-down rather than something I went out and bought for myself.

Try living with 3 females who all swear by Apple. Then there is my sister in law and her family who all have Iphones as well.
I am only one, but still I am one.

We also live in a house divided (where, oh where, is the tshirt/bumper sticker that says house divided with the two logos, like the college team ones - eg. Virginia Tech and UVA). I have a Galaxy Note 2, and an older Galaxy Tab and she has an iPhone 4s and an older iPad.

The answer is that we both use what works for us. If I wanted to come up with all the reasons why Android is better, I would, but I'm just happy that we both have devices that we like. She hates using my phone as much as I hate using hers, so why would I want to force her? There's no need to keep the peace - my only requirement is that I won't support anything that's Android or iPhone specific. Pictures get uploaded to Dropbox; calendar entries are made in Google Calendar (we can see each other's calendar, as well as add invitations). The shared music can be via Amazon or Slacker. Videos are with Plex. If she has problems with Waze, I'll help. The list goes on; you get the idea. We can't share apps, but that's minor (except that I share some apps with the Kids' Kindle Fires).

If she wants to use iCloud, that's fine, as long as I can be blissfully unaware of its existence (I don't think she does). Conversely, if there's a feature/app in Android that IOS doesn't support, I don't expect her to use it.

Enough things are cross platform that you aren't giving up much by refusing to accept what isn't.
