how are the leather backs holding up?

Title. Thinking of upgrading from 2014 moto x to 2014 and I like how the leather backs look, but am concerned about their longevity. Any thoughts?

I take pretty good care of my phone, so nothing bad to report about the leather back. It is prone to indentations from pressing against hard objects. Depending in the severity, much of the denting can be massaged out.

Mine has normal wear. Adds character. Supposed to show scuffs and dings. Use a case 50% of the time.

I use a flip case with protective back even on my soft-touch plastic backed!
