Took these pics with my phone, not very impressed. Too noisy.

What am I missing?

I set the settings the other day and they keep reverting back. It is really pissing me off.

I change it to HDR and it goes back to auto.

WTF? Does anyone else have these problems?

It seems that is how it works with the GS4. Mine always seems to revert back to auto as well. Doesn't bother me, I just remember to set it to the mode I want before I snap my pics.

Also, changing to 13MP isn't going to make the pictures look better. All it is really doing is changing it from a 16:9 ratio image to a 4:3 ratio image.

Yeah it seems to go back to auto every time. I was thinking/ hoping it may be possible to make a shortcut right to the HDR effect but I just thought of it and haven't looked into it yet.
Night mode does work better for me indoors when darker though this will revert to a 9.6m. You can change it into 13m but yeah that's a lot of clicking around.

Its probably just the lighting. Try using the flash or having light towards ur back.

That is quite annoying, lol

Can you give suggestions on settings as well?

I didn't think that changing to 13MP would make a difference, I just saw on another board that was suggested. I didn't think there was any difference in quality when changing the ratio.
