How are you syncing music between your music library and N5?

Thinking about making the jump soon from my GS3 to N5. One thing I noticed is how s l o w MTP is when syncing music from my music library on my laptop to my GS3.

I prefer a physical connection between the device and computer as I am often away from my home network, and don't always have internet access to make wifi or cloud storage an option..

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

here is what i did, I synced all my music to google music i then pinned all albums i like to my nexus when i on wifi.

i have 3 gb songs on my device. its a hybrid solution

Not using a Nexus 5, but I'd assume the easiest method would be either uploading your collection to Play Music, or using Doubletwist.

Isyncr for me. Syncs with iTunes easily. The best app I've used for iTunes syncing. And I've used a lot. USB or WiFi, Mac or PC. It just works.

But you can drag and drop as well if you prefer. And whatever desktop app you are using just export your playlists, and put those in the same folder you dropped the music and good to go on your phone.

I also uploaded my entire collection to Google Music (using its desktop software).

My solution similarly. I build a playlist called "on device" and pin that one so it downloads to my phone. As you add songs to it they get downloaded. I've put plenty of songs and albums in there that I would have normally just copied to my phone in the past
