How are you transferring data from your old phone to your new Moto X Pure Edition/Moto X Style?

So how is everyone doing it? How are you transferring over your data and information from your Current phone to your new Moto X Pure Edition? Lets post up our methods and what deceive we are coming from so that new and first time users have a reference. My X just got delivered and I wont be home until this evening.

Current, Nexus 6
Transferring using Moto Migrate, Google Drive, old SD card from M8 and signing in to various apps. What ever I miss will be transferred via bluetooth.

I just logged into my Google Account and it brought all my main stuff over. As for apps I just chose my old phone (which was set to backup) so it re-downloaded all my apps and everything.

One of the cool features introduced with 5.0 was tap to set up. I'm planning on just tapping my old X to the new one and letting it do it's thing.

Is this with the moto migrate or through Google? This sounds like the easiest option.

I did the "Tap to Setup" thing and it pulled everything over from an app perspective but you need to use Migrate to move text history, music and pics.

Are you transferring everything before or after activation - SIM swap?

Having the sim in or out should have no bearing on restoring your account. That is of course assuming you have a wifi network available and don't need a cell signal yet.

If you are just moving your sim from an old phone to the new phone there shouldn't be any "activation" either, the sim is already good to go so it should just take off and work right away.
