How can I automatically sync photos from Phone to PC

I have a Sony xperia Z3 and a Windows 7 PC.

Previously, I used dropbox to sync all my photos. This allowed me to take a picture with my phone and it then appear on my computer moments later. One benefit is I can email the picture to someone.

I no longer use Dropbox as I am restricted on how much space I can use. How can I use Google + (or whatever Google offers nowadays) to achieve the same goal? If its not possible with Google, what are the alternatives?

Google Drive works just like dropbox, or if using Google+ there's an option to have it automatically backup any photos from your phone.

If I use Google Drive, how can I see my photos on my PC? Dropbox syncs to a folder on my PC. I dont really mind what I use as long I can sync photos from my phone to a folder on my PC using Google.

Ok. I think Im getting somewhere now. It looks like my phone isn't syncing my photos on the fly as the latest pics aren't there. This is something I need to look at myself. Thanks for the helpl

Install Google Drive on your computer. It syncs to your HD just like Dropbox.

I use FolderSync to sync photos (or any other files) between a folder on the phone and a folder on Google Drive. Eliminates the need to fool with Google+. It will sync on a schedule, immediately in real time, by WiFi only, etc.

If you want to sync photos only to Google Drive, soon the Android Google Drive app will add built-in photo uploads like Dropbox has, eliminating the need for FolderSync. But I use FolderSync for more than just photos.

I have it sussed.

I have drive on my PC but it wasn't syncing all my photos. So on my phone, I selected Photos. It said it was up to date but there were definitely photos missing. In the options, I selected "On Device" and I could see the missing photos. I noticed a little cloud with a line through it. I pressed it and it changed. The problem was not all folders were being backed up. I have now selected all folders and they are coming through to my PC as we speak.
