How can I Block My Caller ID Info?

Is there a setting in my VZW Note 9 to automatically block my caller id info to people I call without dialing
*(forget the number) before each call?

Not that I'm aware. I used put the prefix on certain contacts if I had to call a specific number more than once. If it's a one off call its easy enough to just dial the prefix

I don't see that screen on my Unlocked Note 10+.

So maybe it's built in the os but vzw deletes it? Seems like a lousy thing to do.

I have a locked tmobile and I have it a well.

Does calling from Google Voice kind of hide it? Since they give you another number. I had one caller who said my number came from Florida and almost didn't answer it. I've only been calling on my phone recently, I'm not up to date on phone calling options.

There looks like it can be set up permanently. This is in my phone's Google voice app.

You can go into your Verizon app and block all calls at no charge

I was afraid that would block caller ID of INCOMING calls. I don't want to lose that.

"You have the option to block Caller ID either temporarily or permanently. To block your number from being displayed temporarily for a specific call: Enter *67. Enter the number you wish to call (including area code)."

Click on tell me more and it tells you what it does. It blocks your ID, not other people's ID. I can't even think of why anyone would need to block someone's ID incoming. If you want to exclude someone from the block its *82. You could add that as a prefix to any contacts you want to see your number.
