How can I change a movie's aspect ratio?

My Tab S 10.5" (SM-T800) appears to have a default movie aspect ratio of 4:3.
Can I change this to, say, 16:9?

Jason, it's the same with all movies.

On my tablet, in the stock Samsung video player, just below the video length time, is an icon used for collapsing or expanding the video display size. See if you have this icon and tap on it a few times.

nahoku, thanks for that. The icon is there and it does change the aspect ratio.
