how can I change permission from readonly to read/write.

Hello, once I select the file and delete it it is not deleted although the popup appears showing the read only permission for my card and refuses to delete anything or I can't even cut any file and paste it in another folder, because same popup appears again. once i select the drive in windows explorer, i can delete as well as cut files from sdcard but it is not actually deleted or cut. They are just copy and pasted. Please help me how can I delete or cut files from my sdcard. Or how can I change permission from readonly to read/write. Xiaomi redmi 2 Android kitkat Recently updated my phone The problem arose after I inserted reliance jio simcard maybe that has something to do.

Back up your SD card, reformat it and restore your data. It should work fine. I suggest you use HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool (free) - Download Latest version in english on CCM This works better than the Windows tool
