How can I delete a photo from my contacts for someone?

I want to delete a photo from my contacts for someone

I've tried changing the photo associated with this contact and I can change the photo, ok. But, I want to DELETE the photo and the association and nothing I do gets rid of the photo from that contact. I do not want my nosey gf to know who's calling or texting me, because she's constantly going through my phone if it happens to be unlocked at any given time. I've deleted it from the contact, the phone and the cloud, but it will NOT go away. Please advise how to get back my privacy! Thank you.

Try going to Gallery, then long press the photo. Press delete and then try going to Contacts. Edit the contact, press Remove, then Save. Resetting your device might also make it work. Try deleting the contact, and creating it again by pressing the + button and then add the number. That might work, too.

Click on edit.
Scroll down and look for the "More Fields" option.
Click that.
Now click on the "Change" button near the image.
Here you will find the remove option.
