How Can I Extend the Time My LG G4 Rings Before It Goes to Voice Mail?

I love my new LG G4, but I swear it's only ringing like 10 seconds before it goes to voice mail. I can't find an option to make it ring longer. I keep missing calls when I can't get it out of my purse fast enough or even when it's on the other side of the same room. My carrier is AT&T and I have the pay as you go (Go Phone) refill plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :-*

This depends on the carrier I think, and I used these before on AT&T GoPhone. Copied from another forum:

Procedure to adjust ring time before voicemail answers:

This question has come up several times and I've posted the procedure several times and it keeps coming up.
I wonder if you could add to your FAQ or some kind of WIKI. Thanks

Just follow these steps.
1. Enter *#61*11# and press Send/Talk
2. Write down the number your calls are currently forwarded to. This is your voicemail deposit number.
3. Decide how long you want the phone to ring in 5 second intervals. The maximum time is 30 seconds.
4. Now enter **61*(number from step 2)*11*(number from step 3, use 2 digits)# and press Send/Talk.
Example **61*18085519626*11*30#
This will now change your default ring time before voicemail answers to 30 seconds. To test if it was successful, enter *#61*11# and press Send/Talk for the new value.

I appreciate maxburn's reply as well. I think the instructions might have been the same as what was in the link dpham00 posted. :)

You would think carriers/manufacturers would make this easier for people by now! :-\

That worked perfectly. Thank you soo soooooo much Maxburn :):D:)
I live in the UK and it worked fine here, not sure if your posting from the UK as well, or the US but this worked a treat here.
I'm happy again :)

I have this problem with my LG Rebel. I was getting the indicator and then it Just stopped working. I tried to do what was suggested but I can't get past the first step as it immediately gives me a message from AT&T saying that the number could not be reached. What does AT&T have to do with it, anyway?! It's kinda pissing me off! What do I do besides throw my phone against a wall?

Your voicemail system is controlled by your carrier, whoever that is (ATT for the OP).

If your voicemail app does not let you adjust the ring time, you need to contact your carrier. This is a very common request to the carriers.
