How can I find a lost phone that no longer has any power?

I lost my phone yesterday and now the battery has run out and it has no power. Is there a way to find my phone when it's no longer on?
all the apps that I have come across in my research, need to have the phone on. seems crazy that there's nothing out there that can track it once the power has run out.
I'v tried - track my device through Google and that won't work once the phone is off.
Help!!!!!!

Welcome to the forums. Once a phone has lost power, it can't interact with anything that can be used to locate it, due to the fact that location services need to ping the device, and the only way that can be achieved is for the radios to be active.

This is correct. Without power the phone will not be able to communicate with any app or network.
