How to fix nexus 5 black screen

My nexus 5 started getting a red tinge to screen and horizontal white lines on screen and i thought it might have got wet in rain so i put it in rice over night and that sorted it out then it got real hot the next day so i turned it off but when turned back on it started going all red and liney again and then the screen stopped working (just black) but im still receiving messages and the backlight comes on but no display or anything and the led light still works

Sounds like you suffered some permanent damage... You'll need to get it serviced, if possible at this point
