How can I fix my Samsung Galaxy S6 message app?

samsung galaxy s6 message app

hi. I have galaxy S6.
Messages were working fine but since a couple of days ago the app is showing I have one message and it doesn't go away, even if I clean all my messages.
How do I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, select Messaging, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, and if you don't have any messages you want to save, Clear Data as well.

Use another message app like Google messenger that's excellent
