How can I get my Micro SD card out of read-only mode?

Micro SD card is in read-only mode.

How do I fix this? I would like to use it for apps and else but it won't let me. Some games don't even work if I put them on it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Have you checked the little switch in the side of the SDCard? It will lock the card so it is read only!

It is a microSD one... it doesn't have a switch. But thanks for the tip.

I got curious and looked this up online. The easiest way is to use your PC and a usb card reader. Insert the micro SD card in a USB adapter and use windows to remove the write protection and make the Micro SD card a read/write card!

What if you dont have a computer . I was editting mp3 tags whe sll of a sudden SD Card became read only

I dont have computer. Have for years. Cant blame this on computer error. It was writting now it is read only

Problem solved. The SD Card is in the last throws. Need to backup and replace
