I am at wits end trying to solve a problem. I realized that I was no longer able to access the stock recovery interface on my rooted S4. I had wanted to switch to a custom ROM to hopefully improve battery and overheating issues. Long story short, I used Odin to flash the stock ROM (downloaded from Sammobile.com). That fully reset the phone, but I still could not access recovery. I have since flashed the stock firmware a few more times. Even though Odin showed that it passed, the phone was exactly the same (i.e., same apps installed, same wallpaper, settings). Why isn't the flash taking, and what can I do to bring the recovery interface back?
