i got a android tv box and it came in chinese how do i get it to be in english how do i change the language

Welcome to Android Central! If you can, go to the System Settings and look for the Language & Input option. If there are icons associated with menu options, it'll probably have a letter "A" icon. If there are no icons, then you may have to use Google Translate to find the correct setting. Then look for the System Language option, and change that to your preferred language.
