Hello, everyone.
Basically, I've been having some real problems with my Samsung Galaxy S4 recently, and I'm stuck in a complete loop and I am starting to get really angry with it.
It all started a few days ago when my Google Play Store decided to tell me it was Unable to reach the Google Servers. After trying all solutions (to no avail) I voted for uninstalling it with a System App Remover and Reinstalling it. This is when all hell broke loose. It seems to be that it is PERMANENTLY wiped from my phone. I've tried everything from Installing version of Google Play Store/Services but all they kept doing was saying they 'Stopped'.
So today I decided to opt for installing a Custom OS thinking that would save the day. I wiped my cache, wiped my data and installed CyanogenMod 13.0 (Android Version 6.0.1) however when I booted the phone back up, surprise surprise... Where the hell was my Google Play Store? Non-existent, that's where. Oh, and also Google Play Service, Music, Games, YouTube, GMail, all that stuff gone. Nothing Google related whatsoever.
So I went to install them all again. Now Google Play Services tells me 'Google Play Services won't run unless you update Google Play Services'. Now... How am I meant to do that when:
1: I have the latest version.
2: Every time I try to open it, it 'Stops'.
I'm currently downloading a Stock OS zip hoping that will circumvent the issue I've been plagued with... There's about 30 minutes left on the download. I'm basically here to ask if there is any use doing that, and if not, what on Earth can I do to stop my phone from being a royal pain in the ***?
Thanks.
EDIT: Hang on a second, I'm going to flash GAPPS to see if that works.
