Doesn't mean it's a virus, could have just hit a hiccup and got frozen. Try holding the power button for 10+ seconds to force a reboot.

Now, if it automatically reboots, power the device back off. With the device powered off, hold the volume down and Power together. This will put you into recovery mode. Using the volume up and volume down keys to navigate and the power button to make the highlighted selection, go down to wipe system cache. This does not wipe any personal data.
