How can I get rid of File Manager com.adv.fm.pro

I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of this virus File Manager com.adv.fm.pro but it won't let me and it keeps putting new apps on my phone please help!

If you can't remove it through normal means, a factory reset and wiping the cache is the best way to insure its gone completely. If you d/l it from the play store make sure you disable the auto-restore apps feature otherwise it will get back on there again.

I tried boring into serfdom to get rid of it and it refuses to let my phone boot into safe mode. I'm starting to get really worried that I might have to root it. Which I really do not want to do.
