my phone is a android version 4.1.2 zte and i use straight talk ..i bought a xtreme selfie stick with shutter button...how do i make it work?

Does the selfie stick not come with instructions? Some work with Bluetooth, others work by plugging something in to the ear phone jack.

Yeah a do came with a ear phone jack and a instructions that said steps 1 to 6, but I try all that still I can't get to work with it. Please I need help right now?
