how can i help my Samsung Galaxy trend 3 pass the ODIN mode?

[Android Central Question]

after switching it on with both switch and volume down key it says "Acustom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications, if you want to download a custom OS ,press the volume up key to continue and down to cancel" if i cancel it shows an android sign only on the screen without any change, if i continue it says odin mode in blue then product name and system status in white and it cant download anything! thank you for the assistance.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify -- are you trying to use Odin Mode to download a firmware file in order to install it?
