Poor Web Browsing Experience

Poor Web Browsing Experience

Hi, this is where I really don't like the android ecosystem. Web browsing is awful. It lags terribly. Is there any tweaks to improve this issue?
This is the area where iOS outperforms android. I love my Note 4 except of this issue.

What browser are you using?

No issues whatsoever on my Mote 4 running Chrome. Are you using the stock internet app? try downloading firefox or chrome.

No lag what so ever on my Note 4. I use chrome and stock web browser. Never had any issues.

really need more information.

I would go with firefox.

Re: Poor Web Browsing Experience

No issues with stock browser, which I prefer to Chrome as you can use it in full screen mode.

Having used both the 6p and Note 4, both seemed to perform ok for Web browsing. Can you provide more details?

Adaway with Cheetah Mobile browser is really fast! And with Chrome too!

If you're using Chrome it's to be expected in my experience. Try the Samsung stock browser (labeled "Internet") instead. I've found it runs circles around Chrome. It's based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) browser, which even ran better (side loaded) than Chrome on my old OG Nexus 7.

As to Safari on IOS, not sure it's much better than Chrome. My girl is ALWAYS complaining about it and how it performs on her iDevices (two iPhones and two iPads, one personal, one work supplied). Wait may be it's the user! ;)

Re: Poor Web Browsing Experience

My bad for being a newbie with Android... I think it's the facebook built-in web browser was I'm referring which really sucks. After I got an advice from other thread on how to configure facebook's default web browser, then my problem was solved! Now I'm happy with my Note 4. Thanks!
