How can I keep content within functioning touch screen?

Keep content within functioning touch screen

Digitizer of my android phone has stopped working in area which has soft keys. Is there any way to tell android to not use that area of screen as if it were not present from start and use rest of the screen for content?

By rewriting the ROM, yes. Otherwise, have the phone checked by a shop. A loose connector could do that, or it may require a new digitizer.

Had this exact same problem a few weeks ago. You can remove the navigation soft keys. Then what i used was gmd gestures for navigation(also can use pie control).
