I have a Samsung S9+ that has upgraded to Android 10. While it was still in Android Pie, I could select/highlight a phone number, and the context menu that pops up lets me place a call on Hangouts Dialer.

But now on Android 10, I don't have that option.

I've gone to Settings-> apps -> three dots top right-> default apps.
But I can't change it there: http://imgur.com/a/EXnPUi3.

The phone is not rooted.

Thanks.

I don't see it on my Pixel 3 XL as an option either. I suspect Google stopped making it available when they began whatever plan they have to phase out Hangouts.

You can change the default app for the Phone function, but the app has to be a possible option. I suspect Hangouts Dialer is no longer a candidate for the reason I mentioned above.

Yes sir, on the Android 10, even.

Sorry, for not responding, sooner, Mustang! The AC Forums app did not push a notification for quoted post, even though that's selected. \_0_/
It happens to me also delayed, I use chrome also to see quotes .
