How can I move an app to SD Card more efficiently?

My memory is low on my phone (Galaxy S4) because I have one big app and many small ones. My big app (Plants Vs Zombies 2) takes up 691 MB. I tried to move it to the SD Card, but only 30 MB moved!
How can I "better" move apps? I tried removing it from the SD and then to move it again, to no avail...

Check with the app developer ! They should design a way to do this in the app!

Welcome to Android Central! Moving an app to SD only ever moves a portion of the app, and it's often a small one at that. If you root the phone and use an app like Link2SD or App Mgr III, you might be able to move more to the SD (but the app might be more prone to glitches, and performance might suffer).
