Question How can I play my iPod Video classic, 1990s - 2007 music collection, non Bluetooth. I also want to copy the music to my Windows 11 Acer PC.

I have recently returned to listening to music on the move and wonder if there a way of copying the music from my iPod to my PC with the aim of adding it to any phone later where my wireless ear buds work well. I could not get it to work with wired ear phones and bought a Bluetooth TaoTronics wireless transmitter but couldn't get it to pair with my wireless ear buds. I created the playlist when I bought the iPod and still had a DVD drive on my PC.

Is VLC a suitable free media player to use to manage my music on my Android phone and PC or would you suggest a better one.

What format is the music on the iPod? It may be an Apple proprietary format and needs to be converted before you can listen to it on a non Apple device.
