How can I prevent upgrade to Android 11?

I understand that 11 isn't about security upgrades, but just about mixing up some features that I have no interest in. My phone says it will upgrade to 11 when I restart. I guess I could just avoid restarting my new OnePlus Nord N10 5G, but is there another way to block this upgrade? I understand OnePlus won't be allowing upgrades beyond 11 for this phone, so there's no need for me to move to 11. Please share any thoughts you might have about this.

It seems that the update has been already downloaded and installed in the inactive slot (A/B partitions). If that's the case there's no much that you can do and the next time you restart the phone the system will just switch the partitions, leaving you with Android 11 in the active slot.

You can search the official OnePlus forum for a rollback package that could let you go back to Android 10 after 11 is completely installed. This process will wipe all your data.

And about security. If you keep your phone in Android 10 you'll be unable to install any incremental security patch, they are part of the regular system updates.
