How can I recover data from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 if the screen is blank?

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Blank screen

The other day I accidentally dropped my phone, and now the screen is completely blank. I cannot see anything no matter what button I press, but it is still receiving calls and texts. I want to try and get my pictures off, but am unable to use Android File Transfer on my mac, because it requires me to unlock my phone. I've been using a passcode, but cannot enter it now.

I've looked up several methods, but am unsure if they will work. I don't think the OTG method using a USB mouse will work, as I cannot see anything on the screen, and I've read that the Note 2 is unable to use the OTG method.

Is there anyway to enter the passcode through my Mac to unlock my phone and hopefully transfer my pictures over?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this the technique you looked at? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...de-accessing-locked-phone-cracked-screen.html The way it's described, it should still work if the screen is blank. From what I found on the web, the Note 2 should be able to use an OTG cable.
