How can I remove the Christmas theme from my Bitmoji App?

I assumed this theme of lights and tinsel on most of my Avatars would stop automatically after the holidays but it did not...

I would prefer not to need to RECREATE my Avatar... Any help would be appreciated!

There was no notice that this was a permanent change when I chose the option and I got a standard reply from Bitmoji with no useful help.
