How can i restrict background data usage when roaming?

[Android Central Question]

I have unlimited data in my home country, but restricted when roaming- - which i think is pretty standard for a lot of networks. So when i am at home, i have a lot of apps running in the background, constantly feeding me information. Is there a setting to allow me to turn off certain apps background data when roaming or does anyone know of an easy way to manage other than manually change each apps settings when roaming?
