How can I see images in an email

Hi,

I received an image in an email but I cannot see it on my S2.
My friend can see it on his iWatch.

When I receive an image on whatsapp I can see the same picture without any problem.

Do I make something wrong or is it not possible to see images in an email?

I can't figure out how to open up attachments either.

I can't see them in an email but I can in a text message. I don't believe images are supported in email.
