How can I stop my battery draining?

How to kill r troubleshoot facebook?
What I mean is that in order to troubleshoot your battery problem you will have to "force stop" or "uninstall" Facebook and/or the other social media apps. That's the first step.

If it is Facebook causing the issue, then all you might need to do is reinstall it. I don't use Facebook... I'm just passing along what other people have seen.

I agree. Apparently, the battery use that Facebook is responsible for doesn't always show up under Facebook in the battery stats. Some parts of it might be represented in Android System.

I realized something when i sleep and the wifi is on the battery consumes about 30-50% and when it is off it consumes 4-8%. Anyone has an explanation?

Re: The battery draining

My battery started draining a few days ago. I used to lose .04-.05% /hr. Now I'm losing up to 10 to 15% /hr. I get to work at 8 am today and get off at 3 pm with 28% left.

It'd be helpful to look at your battery stats upon waking up, and seeing if there's a particular app that is using excessive battery. Perhaps that app is constantly waking the phone up to refresh data.

Also, if the wifi signal at your bed is not strong, the phone might have to expend more energy trying to maintain the signal (much like with poor cell signal).
