How can I stop updates for disabled apps?

Stop updates for disabled apps

I have disabled several stock apps on my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact but for some of them (e.g. Xperia Lounge) I still get notifications about new updates being available. How do I stop this?

Unfortunately, in my version of the Play Store application there is no way of disabling automatic updates for specific apps and disabling updates for all apps is not a way I'd like to go.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central.

When you are notified of updates, you do not have to Update All....you can open each app and choose to update or not.
I don't think you can stop the notifications for updates though.
