How can I sync Outlook for Mac with my mobile Android device?

I have Outlook for Mac 2011 (not windows), version 14.4.2 on my Macbook Pro. I recently switched from iPhone 5 to Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (love it, btw). I want so desperately to have my calendar on my phone sync with the calendar on my laptop. Is this even possible? I've tried so many things already to make this happen. All have failed. What can I do?

Also, I don't use Outlook for email or contacts. I just want my calendar to sync.
