How can I tell my phone it's number?

I have a Samsung S4 mini and the other day I noticed that it doesn't know it's own number. I've enclosed a screenshot to show what I mean.




Could you please tell me how I can change this so my phone is aware of what it's own number is please?

The SIM card tells it what its number is. Call it and see if it rings. If it does it''s just a problem with that page not showing the number. If it doesn't take it down to the carrier's store and have them check out the SIM. They should replace it for free if it's bad. It could also be the socket it sits in that's bad.

(If you don't have the "emergency calls only" notification on your lock screen, it's probably just not showing the number.)

Thank you for this response. Can I ask how I call the SIM card before I contact my carrier store?

I did have an issue on activation what was supposed to take 15 minutes took nearly 24 hours.

They didn't tell you what your phone number is when you went to get the phone or get the phone activated?

He just means to call your phone. Either find another phone and dial your cell phone number or have a friend call you.

I rang it and it went straight through to my voice mail, so I'm guessing that means is okay. However I thinking this is an issue as it's also effecting my My Vodafone app my details aren't pulling through so I can't seen to get my live details. Looks like I'll have to contact my carriers after all. Thank you all though

I rang it and it went straight through to my voice mail, so I'm guessing that means is okay.

It means that the number is okay and Vodaphone has an account for that number. It also means that your phone probably isn't working okay.

Looks like I'll have to contact my carriers after all.

That's about all you can do at this point.
