Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone pairing in the first place? If it's pairing but the phonebook isn't transferring contacts, then make sure you haven't missed a notification on the phone asking you permission to allow the contact transfer.

If you don't see that, then open Contacts, tap Menu>Contacts to Display, and instead of All, select Customize. Now choose all of the contact groups you'd like display on the car. See if that works.
