How can I transfer my game data off of my phone without using Helium?

(Q) Helium doesnt work with transfering my game data to my new phone

I just got a lg g2 and want to transfer my subway surf game files from my galaxy s3. My windows computer refuses to install helium or its drivers because the files are corrupt and on a friends macbook it keeps saying the backup file is invalid when i place it in the helium storage of the g2.
Can anybody help?
I have to send the phone to the manufacturers today so i only have today

Are you downloading the Helium software from their website? I never had a problem on my Windows 7 laptop. What OS is on your Windows computer?

You could just try making a backup to the cloud - then you wouldn't have to fiddle with local storage. (Of course, to restore from the cloud you must have the premium version.)
